Ooooh I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this session!!!!   It is killing me not to be able to show Savanah off…..but I have to wait until after her wedding! haha!   Many of you will know Savanah from my other posts - she is the “makeup girl” at N Salon and Spa that I am always writing about.   She is such a sweet, likeable person- I feel like I have known her forever!  It seems like I run into Savanah at most of my weddings now, because she is the makeup artists that more and more of my brides are choosing!  And for good reason- just check out her work! 

Savanah is not your regular bride- oh no! She has amazing ideas and loves anything out of the ordinary - which really comes through in her pictures.  I was so impressed sunday at her shoot - I felt like I was working with a super model! haha!

Our good friends, Ashley and Brad were married 6/13/09 in Sumter.  I loved everything about this wedding and reception! Everything was so beautiful and Ashley did most of it herself- Can you believe that!???  She has a great decorating sense and is full of great ideas!    I am sure Brad helped some too…..right Brad??? haha! But it really was very unique and beautiful!

Cash and Colton’s mom brought them to the studio last week for a few pictures - mainly for little Cash’s christening. Was his little white gown just adorable!!  Cash wasn’t enjoying his pictures too much, so big brother Colton stepped in and helped out!

Ryan and Jennifer were married June 6 at Wise Dr Church.  They held their reception at San Souci.  The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast! I loved watching this group dance and have a good time!  I have enjoyed working with this couple- thanks so much!  Congrats on your marriage and may you have a wonderful, happy marriage together!

Little Jackson came to the studio this week for his very first photos! We attempted this session two weeks ago, but a storm knocked the power in the studio off- so we had to reschedule.  Jackson was so good and cooperative- he let us curl him up inside big bowls and everything- haha!  Jackson’s mommy purchased the “Oh Baby” package, so I will be seeing lots more of little Jackson this year.

 Terrah and Caleb were married May 23rd in Sumter.  What a beautiful and sincere wedding!  I had to wipe my own eyes quite a few times during the day! haha!  I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Terrah and Caleb and her family through the past couple of months - from the engagement session to the bridals and then the wedding- they have been absolutely great and such a blast to be around!  I feel like I have known them for years!  Terrah and Caleb- I wish you both a long and happy marriage- and I know you will have it! Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your wedding!

Jennifer and Jason came to the studio this week for some pregnancy pictures and we had so much fun! They are good friends of mine- so of course I was trying out all kinds of stuff on them! haha! I think we were shooting for like 2 hours!  I love, love, love these shots of Jennifer- she is just breath taking! And Jason- you aren’t too bad either! haha! jk!  Little Ava will be here in just a few short weeks and I can’t wait to photograph her!  Oh- and Jason is just an amazing chiropractor- if anyone out there is hurting- give him a call (803-775-1037) He is the reason i can carry these big, heavy camera around all the time!

Brittany and Dustin were married May 9th at San Souci Farms in Sumter, SC.  I absolutely LOVED the colors Brittany chose for her wedding- so summery and cute!!! This wedding was really fun- and I swear I have NEVER EVER seen a vehicle DESTROYED like Dustin’s! hahahaha!!!!  His groomsmen did a number on that truck- wow!!! The pictures don’t do it justice, because it was bad! Vaseline and rice EVERYWHERE in and out!  Hope you could get that truck clean Dustin! Congrats you two!! Thanks for letting me document your big day!

Amber and Michael were married in at the Rutledge Chapel in Columbia, SC on May 16.  They held their reception at the SC Museum of Art.  This wedding was every bit of beautiful from beginning to end!  Oh, and I think my favorite part was at the end of the ceremony, the preacher was just about to announce them husband and wife, and there this loud rumble of thunder- it was hilarious!!! I love the shot of Amber’s face when that happened- hilarious! haha! I also want to say that I was loving their choice of song during the lighting of the unity candle -  an awesome arrangement of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters- and yes I do love me some Metallica! ( so much so that I am trying to talk my sister into using that piece in her upcoming wedding!).
