You would never know it by looking at these images, but Harper made us WORK for these smiles- haha!! She was totally ignoring us at first…to the point that we all started laughing, because she wouldn’t even look at us!  But once she started cracking those beautiful smiles, she was good to go!

My friends, Austin and Paula and their girls- Anna Lyn and Kate, had some fun on the beach recently with some family portraits.   Well, I can’t say Kate had all that great of a time….she was not interested in the beach at all…so of course that meant I was dancing and jumping all around trying to get her attention…which I am sure looked really cute to anyone passing by- haha!!   But hey- it’s all about the picture!

I can’t believe this little guy is already 10 months old!! wow how time flies!! Ryland made us work for some smiles in the beginning, but after he started…there was nothing but grins from ear to ear!!

Little Camden came to the studio last week for his one year old pictures. This little guy was all smiles from the minute he came through the door- love that!!   And Camden’s mommy brought him the best surprise….a big chocolate cake- just for him!  At first he was being very neat and clean with the cake, but once he figured out that we actually WANTED him to dig in and get dirty- he had a blast!! Happy Birthday Camden- you are such a cutie!!

Seda and Raleigh joined their grandmother in the studio for some sweet pictures.  Seda was visiting from Colorado, so it was an extra special treat to have her in these images.

My friends Nancy and Mark brought their little ones, Drew and Sarah Margaret,  in last week for some family photos.  Nancy said she thought maybe it was time for an updated photo….since the portrait hanging over their fireplace doesn’t include little Sarah Margaret!…and she’s HOW old now?????     haha- sorry Nancy had to bring ya out on that one!   Drew was definitely cracking me up with his funny faces and Sarah Margaret really got a kick out of watching mom and dad as they tried to get her to smile.    We split the session between the studio and an outdoor location…which is the way to go in this crazy heat!!  I don’t know about you, but I am DONE with Summer…bring on some cool weather!

Luke’s mommy brought him to the studio last week for his 12 month pictures- and what a cutie he was!!! He had the biggest, happiest smile I have ever seen!  So we played around in the studio with a few different props and backgrounds, and Luke’s mommy brought some bright colored balloons for him to play with too!   I love the image of him “chillin” on the balloons…of course those were after we taped them to the floor to stop them from flying around everywhere!  haha!

Kate’s mommy is a very good friend of mine, and she brought Kate to the studio this week for some “cutie” pictures.  I am beginning to think the tutu’s and the flower headbands were my best idea ever!! haha! But they are just so cute on everyone!!  I was thinking I should just have a girly girl dress up day and photograph nothing but little ones in the tutu’s!

Lucy and Hayden’s mom brought them to the studio last week for a session.  They did so  good on their smiles and every pose I asked them to do- perfect little models!! 

Bella Grace came to the studio Friday for her 3 1/2 year pictures. She is very much into dance, so her mom thought she would enjoy dressing up in some of the tutu’s that I have- and boy did she! She looked like a little princess!! And I think she had fun modeling as well!!
