Update:  I am so sad to let everyone know this, but Sadie went to Doggy Heaven.  She had a long, happy life and isn’t suffering anymore.  Thanks to everyone that left comments, that was so sweet, and I know my friend appreciated it very much.

Sadie belongs to one of my best friends since high school, JoAnne…..and she is not doing well.  Sadie has numerous tumors and they are affecting her muscles, which makes it hard for her to walk and even stand up sometimes.   Sadie was doing so bad the past couple days that  JoAnne asked me to come take some pictures of her, in case she had to go to Heaven.  Sadie is a Great Dane- huge, sweet, loving, and followed JoAnne everywhere she went- always!    Every time I would go to JoAnne’s house, she was always curled up on her bed, just like in these pictures.   JoAnne and I both, have never had very good luck with dogs - it was always a joke between us!!  Then she found her Sadie, and I found my Sam.  It makes me sad for my friend, because I can  only imagine how I would feel if this were Sam.  I know Sadie will be missed very much when she leaves.    Hang in there Sadie- I wish you all the best!
